Launched in 2018 and now in its third year, the 2nd Africa–Europe Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Foresight Summit [AESMEFS] was proudly established to recognize the commitments and distinguished achievements of SMEs in delivering outstanding products and services to their clients and segment. The Steering Committee would like to honor and acknowledge all who submitted an entry this year under the incredible circumstances that we have been working under – well done and keep forging ahead.
The Steering Committee of the 2nd Africa–Europe Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Foresight Summit [AESMEFS] proudly announce the winners of the Africa–Europe Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Foresight Summit [AESMEFS] Excellence Awards 2022. They have excelled in business development and innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity, youth empowerment, leadership excellence, and unique contributions to community development.
The covid-19 pandemic affected us all, but one group, in particular; small and medium enterprises (especially in Africa) was particularly hard hit. Due to a lack of digital infrastructure and working cash, most small firms had to close their doors. On the other hand, some responded to the situation and emerged more robust than ever, setting new standards and capitalizing on chances that came their way.
To honour SMEs’ dedication, the steering committee presents the Africa–Europe Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Foresight Summit [AESMEFS] Excellence Awards 2022, a credible opportunity to support and share our objective of raising the prominence of industrious, diligent, and ambitious SMEs across the Africa and Europe. Business awards are a sought-after mark of distinction, a genuine affirmation of business accomplishment that provides excellent marketing and public relations opportunities while enhancing your credibility and status among your colleagues and customers. Of course, it feels fantastic as well!

These awards not only assist Africa SMEs in gaining better access to money, technology, global markets, and high-quality labour, but they also bring this seemingly fragmented group together on a single platform.

The Africa–Europe Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Foresight Summit [AESMEFS] Excellence Awards 2022 is an enormous achievement in which there were more than 1500 nominations that came from across different industry areas. After selecting the most creative and bright-minded nominees, there were diverse winners under several unique classifications. The winners were drawn mostly fromAfrica and Europe.
